Train – Southampton Airport Parkway is the nearest railway station, just half a mile away. Trains from Southampton and London Waterloo will take you there.
Bus – Take the number 2 bus, which drops you off a short walk away from the stadium.
Car – If you’re driving, take the M27 until Junction 5 and then take the Stoneham Lane exit. You will pass the stadium if you leave that way, so you’ll need to head to the next roundabout to get back to your destination.

About Eastleigh FC
Eastleigh FC was founded on May 22, 1946, by Derik Brooks and a group of friends in the Swaythling pub in Southampton. Originally named Swaythling Athletic, the club played its matches on Southampton Common before moving to Westfield in Swaythling. In 1950, Eastleigh joined the Hampshire League and settled at Ten Acres in 1957. The club changed its name to Eastleigh six years before helping establish the Wessex League in 1986.
Under the management of Paul Doswell, Eastleigh experienced three successive promotions and rose through the lower leagues of English football. Their highest league position was reached in the Conference South in 2005. The club won its first silverware in seven years in 2011 with a 2-0 victory over Totton in the Hampshire Senior Cup. Over the years, Eastleigh FC has had its fair share of ups and downs, including winning the Russell Cotes Cup, Hampshire Intermediate Cup, and Hampshire Senior Cup.
Silverlake History
When Eastleigh FC was first formed, they played in various locations before settling at Walnut Avenue. In 1957, they moved to Ten Acres, which later became known as Silverlake Stadium due to sponsorship. Over the years, the stadium has undergone several renovations. Floodlights were installed nearly 20 years after its opening, and a grandstand with 352 seats replaced the old wooden stand in 2004. In 2014, extensive redevelopments took place, including the installation of pitch-side fencing and the construction of a new South Stand with 2,290 seats. Today, Silverlake Stadium has a capacity of 5,500 and continues to be the home of Eastleigh FC.
